Three small tools I built to answer the questions Swiss business owners ask me most often. Use them as much as you like — the results stay in your browser unless you ask me to email them to you.
Twelve yes / partly / no questions covering the settings I check first in any Swiss tenant — identity, devices, data, and the Swiss-specific points the nDSG and the CLOUD Act raise. Answer frankly; nobody sees your answers unless you choose to email them to yourself.
Answer the twelve questions and your score, grade and a prioritised list of fixes appear here. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Tell it what your organisation needs and it recommends the lowest plan that actually covers it, with Microsoft's Swiss list prices in CHF. It will also tell you what the recommended plan does not include, which is where most licensing surprises come from.
Prices are Microsoft Switzerland list prices for annual commitment, per user per month, excluding 8.1% MwSt, as published in October 2026. Prices change — treat the total as an indication and ask me for a current CSP quote.
Most Swiss SMBs need a few hours of senior IT attention a week, not a full-time person. This compares four ways of covering those hours — two from me, two by hiring. The retainer and ad-hoc figures are my published prices; the hiring figures are yours to adjust.
Retainer: CHF 600 per month includes 5 hours; extra hours CHF 130. Ad-hoc: CHF 150 per hour, 1-hour minimum. Both exclude MwSt. A 42-hour week is used for the part-time percentage. Finding an experienced person willing to work 5–20% is, in practice, rare — which is why the full-time figure is the realistic comparison for most firms.
Bring your score or your licence estimate and I'll tell you what I'd actually do — including if the answer is "nothing, you're fine".
